Book A Call

Salam, I’m Asmahan

I’m a licensed child psychologist, assistant professor, and Behavior Analyst—but at my core, I’m someone deeply passionate about keeping kids safe and helping families navigate life’s tricky conversations. With over a decade of experience working with children, teens, and parents, I’ve seen how the right support, education, and communication can make all the difference in safeguarding our little ones.

My work has been especially focused on children with autism and other developmental differences, helping them build meaningful skills and independence. I’m also a firm believer that all children need strong buffers—the tools and knowledge to navigate this unpredictable world with confidence. That’s why I founded Amana—a space dedicated to equipping parents, educators, and professionals with practical, no-nonsense strategies to keep kids safe while empowering them to make smart choices.

I also love using stories to make big topics easier to digest. I co-authored The Day the World Went Boom, a children’s book that helps kids understand big changes, and I’m always looking for new ways to turn important lessons into engaging conversations.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my little family in different parts of the world.

Let’s work together to make safeguarding second nature—because every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, and heard. 💙
